The AP900 Series High Flow Filtration System helps reduce contaminants providing protection to all water using appliances and plumbing fixtures throughout the home or light commercial/industrial applications.Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design, an industry first for this application, allows for fast and east cartridge change-outs without the need of a filter wrench, virtually spill-free.

Key Points of AP900 series:
  • Disposable filter design, the use of more health, more convenient to replace
  • Super high strength metal filter head
  • Removal of suspended pollutants from domestic water
  • Assembly of large flow, long life filter
  • Filter cover built-in pressure relief valve to facilitate the replacement of the filter before unloading
  • Design of high strength filter barrel
  • Materials in line with the United States CFR-21 FDA requirements
With difference replacement filter, the system has different name. Here is the comparison table of AP900 series:

Some comments from the customers:

“As good as advertised works great for hard water”

“I am an Engineering Manager at a cosmetics manufacturer and am very familiar with many different types of water filtration. This review is given with years of experience dealing with this technology on an industrial scale. I chose this filter after a few days of research and decided it was the best whole house filter for the money, and is made by a reputable company in 3M who I trust all of the products they put to market.”

Key Points of AP800 series:
  • High-capacity water filter with unrestricted flow rate – an ideal water filtration system for larger homes and commercial applications
  • The Aqua-Pure AP801-C Water filter system reduces particulate, rust, and the taste and odor of chlorine, helps improve the quality of cloudy, colored, or musty water
  • Pressure-relief button makes water filter change-outs simple
  • All system parts are manufactured from FDA CFR-21 compliant materials
  • Cartridges last up to six months, an economical alternative to bottled water

There are two AP800 series, one is AP801-C, the other is AP802. The water filtration capacity is different.

Some comments from the customers:

“The filter system is fairly small, so we just had it installed on the side of the house, in a convenient location to swap out filter cartridges. If you live in a cold climate, I would recommend putting it indoors to protect it from the weather. We are in California, so the side of the house is fine.”

“We’ve been using Brita pitcher for years, but we knew we wanted a whole house filter for three main reasons: (1) drinking water any time from the tap and not have to wait for the Brita to refill, (2) remove chlorine from shower and bath water, and (3) remove the sediments and “crud” from our water. Ultimately it was point 3 that pushed us over the edge when city water kept clogging up your kitchen faucet and it got too tedious to get under the sink and fix the faucet one more time.”

Compare with AP801-C and AP802, only the filtration water capacity is different. Which one is suitable, depend on your water capacity demand.

Whole-house water treatment systems are sometimes referred to as point-of-entry (POE) systems, and are installed immediately downstream from the water meter or well pump. A whole-house filter that reduces iron, particulate, and chlorine odor and taste will typically treat all water entering a residence, protecting plumbing and fixtures while reducing unpleasant tastes, colors and odors. A water softener system will often be bypassed by a cold drinking water line that provides salt-free drinking water. Regular maintenance of a whole-house water filter system may be as simple as replacing a filtration cartridge every six months, or may require a service call. The initial expense of a whole-house water filter system often pays off in the long term, as it may protect pipes and fixtures from iron and/or hard water deposits and discoloration and provide savings in bottled water costs.
